The casts of the the Trajan's column were assembled in the room they stand in, due too their massive size. When being built, they could be easily assembled like a jigsaw puzzle.
The casts gave opportunities for students and people not able to travel to Rome to see these wonders.
I was amazed by the sheer size of the columns, and was constantly asking questions too the museum staff about the history of the casts and columns.
